Our Story

Founded in 2010, our initial venture was the blog Negosentro.com, aimed at providing valuable content for small businesses worldwide. Over the years, our blog network expanded to over 100, and we also established social media channels to facilitate content sharing. We took charge of our SEO, content marketing, ads, and email marketing strategies.

Today, the same platforms and strategies that we use are now also utilized by the very small businesses we aim to serve, who have become our clients. These platforms encompass the core services we offer under the Negosentro Media Group.

Through our services, we have developed expertise in growth hacking specifically tailored to the needs of small businesses. This expertise enables our clients to compete on an equal footing with larger competitors and achieve a higher return on investment.

Negosentro had modest beginnings in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2010 with the launch of the blog Negosentro.com. Recognizing the need for a small business blog targeting the global Filipino community, Homerun Nievera, the publisher, seized the opportunity during a lull period.

Within just two weeks of its launch, the blog gained popularity and experienced server crashes four times. The demand for niche content became evident, prompting the establishment of 14 additional niche blogs, deviating from the approach of building a content portal like Yahoo!.

In 2014, seven of Nievera’s blogs were acquired by a national media company in the Philippines, which eventually withdrew its support after two years. Nievera personally funded these blogs and expanded his network, acquiring over 50 brands during the pandemic. This led to the establishment of the Negosentro Media Group to manage these brands and develop a parallel network of social media channels to support our content sites.

Negosentro.biz is a growth hacking entity that specifically helps startups and small businesses grow their business in the digital space.

In 2023, Negosentro launched its digital PR network and formalized its growth hacking services.
